Creativity and Artificial Intelligence
TECHNOPOLIS OF ATHENS | 23/10/2022 | 17:00
Aesthetic values, fine arts, creativity and artistic vision were the fields where a few years ago, human intelligence defined its power against intelligent machines. Today, machines are increasingly breaking down the traditional monopolies of human cognition, producing original works of art, composing music and writing scripts and essays. But how truly creative is AI?
The NKUA Applied Philosophy Research Laboratory in collaboration with the Laboratory of Music Acoustics and Technology of the Music Studies Department, will carry out a "live" exploration of the creative potential of AI, through interactive visual and musical examples, and raise questions regarding the aesthetic, ethical, legal and institutional problems that emerge.
Participants:
Anastasia Georgaki - Professor at the University of Athens
Dimitris Vassilakis - Μusic composer and researcher at the University of Athens
Telemachos Moussas - Μusic composer and researcher at the University of Athens
